About Aeroitalia
Aeroitalia is a young Italian carrier founded in 2022, launching flights that summer as Italy's airline market reorganized after the end of Alitalia. It expanded quickly by winning public-service-obligation routes, most notably the subsidized network connecting Sardinia with the Italian mainland, and has added scheduled domestic and international services from several Italian bases.
The fleet is based on Boeing 737-800s, with bases including Rome Fiumicino, Milan Bergamo, Cagliari and Olbia. Sardinian continuity routes to Rome and Milan form the backbone of the timetable, giving sim pilots short, high-frequency Mediterranean sectors. The airline also sponsors Italian sports teams and has flown charters for football clubs.
