About Shenzhen Airlines
Shenzhen Airlines was founded in 1992 and began operations in 1993, growing with the rapid rise of Shenzhen itself from fishing town to technology metropolis. Air China later acquired a controlling stake, and the airline joined Star Alliance in 2012 while retaining its own brand and management.
Shenzhen Airlines operates a large mixed fleet of Airbus A320-family and Boeing 737 aircraft from its Shenzhen Bao'an hub, with secondary bases across China.
