About GlobalX

GlobalX, formally Global Crossing Airlines, is an American charter airline founded in 2018 by Ed Wegel, the executive who previously relaunched Eastern Air Lines. Flying since August 2021 from its Miami base, it has grown into one of the busiest US narrowbody charter operators, serving government agencies, sports teams, casinos, tour operators and cargo customers across the Americas.

The fleet spans Airbus A319, A320 and A321 passenger aircraft plus A321 converted freighters, with a stated goal of reaching 35 aircraft by the end of 2026 as it shifts from an all-leased to a partly owned fleet. Its white jets with a teal X tail are now a common sight across the Caribbean and Latin America.
