About Porter Airlines

Porter Airlines launched in 2006 from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, the downtown island field, building its identity around De Havilland Dash 8-400 turboprops and a refined regional product. In 2023 it began a major expansion with Embraer E195-E2 jets flying from Toronto Pearson, Ottawa and Montreal to destinations across North America.

Porter's raccoon mascot, Mr. Porter, fronts a brand that offers free WiFi and snacks to every passenger. The E195-E2 cabin has no middle seats, and the airline's combination of short turboprop hops from a downtown airport with transcontinental jet flying gives sim pilots two very different operations under one livery.
