About Royal Air Maroc
Royal Air Maroc was formed in 1957 through the merger of Air Atlas and Air Maroc, becoming the flag carrier of newly independent Morocco. Based in Casablanca, it expanded steadily across Africa and Europe and joined oneworld in 2020 as the alliance's first full member airline from Africa.
From its Casablanca Mohammed V hub the airline funnels traffic between Europe, North America and a wide West African network, a connecting role few carriers duplicate. The current fleet mixes Boeing 787-8s and 787-9s with 737-800s and Embraer E190s, while its past includes 747s and 757s for pilots drawn to retro operations.
