About Uganda Airlines
Uganda Airlines is the revived national carrier of Uganda, relaunched in 2019 after the original flag carrier, founded in 1977, ceased operations in 2001. The new airline was created by the government to restore direct international links through Entebbe.
From its Entebbe hub the airline flies Bombardier CRJ900 regional jets on African routes and Airbus A330-800neos on longer sectors, making it one of the very few operators of the rare A330-800 variant. Its network links East Africa with destinations including Dubai, London and Lagos, with the crested crane on every tail.
