European Air Charter is a Bulgarian carrier that traces its history to Bulgarian Air Charter, founded in 2000 and long a fixture of the German-Bulgarian holiday market. It rebranded to its current name as its business shifted from own-brand charters to ACMI flying, and its ICAO code BUC and callsign still reflect the original identity.
The Sofia-based airline operates Airbus A320s, three of which are based in Munich on full wet-lease to Condor for the summer 2026 season.
