Fly2Sky: History and Facts

Fly2Sky is a Bulgarian ACMI operator founded in 2017 and based in Sofia, flying under the callsign VARNA in honour of the country's Black Sea port city. The airline specialises in rescuing other carriers from short-notice capacity gaps with mid-life Airbus A320-family aircraft, and its jets have flown for clients across Europe and Africa. In 2025 it added a second AOC in Malta to broaden its contract reach.

The fleet of A320s and A321s operates everything from summer-season wet-leases to standalone charter programmes, including a cooperation that places Fly2Sky aircraft with the Maltese arm of SkyUp Airlines.
