26 New Airlines Added to the Network

We have added 26 airlines to the network. Together they contribute 3,615 flights and 504 aircraft, imported from current real-world schedule and fleet data. All routes are bookable through the regular schedule search and dispatch flow.

The selection focuses on operations that are distinctive to fly rather than on network size alone:

  • Regional and terrain flying: Druk Air (Paro, Bhutan), Air Greenland, Air Niugini (Papua New Guinea), Canadian North (Canadian Arctic, including 737 combi services)
  • Island networks: Aurigny Air Services (Channel Islands), Air Tahiti and Air Tahiti Nui (French Polynesia), Cape Air (New England and the Caribbean), Cayman Airways
  • Cargo: Kalitta Air (Boeing 747 freighters) and Antonov Airlines (An-124 outsize charters, operated from Leipzig)
  • Scheduled carriers across regions that were previously thin in our network: Middle East Airlines, Bangkok Airways, ZIPAIR Tokyo, Peach Aviation, FlySafair, Rex Regional Express, Helvetic Airways, Uzbekistan Airways, Air Mauritius, Air Austral, RwandAir, Tunisair, Akasa Air, Jazeera Airways and Syrian Air

Selection criteria

We looked at which operations add something the network did not yet offer: notable approaches such as Paro, specific aircraft types like the Saab 340, ATR 42 and An-124, regions with little previous coverage such as the Indian Ocean and the Pacific islands, and cargo flying beyond the integrators. Airline size was not a factor; several of these carriers operate fewer than ten aircraft.

Each airline has its current fleet with real registrations, its own logo and an airline profile page. Schedules follow the real-world timetable data and are refreshed periodically. SimBrief dispatch works as usual, including aircraft profiles for the newly added types such as the Antonov An-124 and the Embraer E2 series.
