About Air Atlanta Europe
Air Atlanta Europe is the Maltese arm of the Air Atlanta group, established in 2021 and flying under the callsign EUROVIKING. It revives a name last used by a UK charter airline in the 2000s, but today's operation is firmly focused on widebody ACMI work: Boeing 747-400 freighters flying alongside its Icelandic sister, and Boeing 777s serving large-scale hajj and umrah passenger charters.
The fleet includes the rare 777-300ERSF converted freighter, known in the industry as the Big Twin, making the airline one of very few operators of the type. Its aircraft deploy worldwide, from European cargo hubs to seasonal pilgrimage flying in the Middle East and Asia.
