About CityJet

CityJet is an Irish regional airline founded in 1992 and headquartered in Dublin. It was a pioneer of London City Airport flying in the 1990s under its own brand, but since 2018 has operated purely as a wet-lease provider, describing its business as capacity as a service. Its main customer today is SAS Scandinavian Airlines, for whom CityJet crews and aircraft fly regional routes from Copenhagen and Stockholm.

The fleet consists of Bombardier CRJ900 regional jets, most wearing full SAS colours. The company weathered examinership in 2020 and entered new Danish ownership in late 2025, continuing as one of Europe's most experienced regional ACMI operators.
