About Braathens Regional Airways

Braathens Regional Airways is the Swedish operating carrier of the BRA group, whose lineage includes Malmö Aviation and the Braathens family's long involvement in Scandinavian aviation. The BRA brand was launched in 2016 to unify several Swedish regional operators, and the airline restructured through the pandemic before rebuilding its domestic network.

The base is Stockholm Bromma, the close-in city airport with a short runway that shapes the fleet choice: ATR 72-600 turboprops, which the airline also promotes for their lower fuel burn. Routes link Bromma with Swedish cities such as Malmö, Gothenburg, Umeå and Visby, and the aircraft also fly wet-lease services for other European carriers.
