About JetSMART Colombia

JetSMART Colombia is the Colombian arm of the JetSMART group, which is backed by the American investment firm Indigo Partners. It was certified by Aerocivil and flew its first scheduled service on 14 March 2024, from Bogota to Medellin, entering a market that had been left without a low cost carrier when Viva and Ultra Air stopped flying in 2023.

Bogota El Dorado is the main base and Medellin Jose Maria Cordova the second focus city. The airline flies the Airbus A320 family in a single class layout to Cartagena, Cali, Santa Marta, Barranquilla, San Andres, Pereira, Bucaramanga, Cucuta, Armenia and Monteria, with international services to Santiago and Punta Cana.
