About Albastar

Albastar is a Spanish leisure airline founded in 2009 and based in Palma de Mallorca, though most of its flying happens in Italy, where it has become a leading charter brand with hubs at Milan and Trapani. Its Boeing 737-800s fly tour-operator programmes across the Mediterranean in a dense single-class layout.

The airline is also one of Europe's foremost carriers of pilgrims, flying extensive programmes to Lourdes with aircraft fitted with stretcher-equipped cabins for sick and disabled passengers. That combination of leisure charters and specialised pilgrimage work has given Albastar a distinctive identity, and further fleet growth is planned from 2026.
