About S7 Airlines
S7 Airlines began in 1992 as Siberia Airlines, built from a Soviet-era Aeroflot division at Novosibirsk's Tolmachevo Airport. Rebranded S7 in 2005 with a vivid lime-green identity, it grew into Russia's largest privately owned airline and joined the oneworld alliance in 2010, though its participation was suspended in 2022.
S7 operates Airbus A320-family jets, Boeing 737-800s and Embraer regional jets from dual hubs at Moscow Domodedovo and Novosibirsk, an east-west split that reflects its Siberian roots. The bright green livery stands out on any ramp, and the domestic network stretches across Russia to Far Eastern cities many time zones from Moscow.
