About Arkia
Arkia was founded in 1949 as Israel Inland Airlines and is Israel's second largest carrier. It spent decades on domestic work, above all the Tel Aviv to Eilat shuttle out of the city centre field at Sde Dov, which closed in 2019. Jordache Enterprises holds the majority stake.
The fleet is all Airbus: A320s, two long range A321LRs seating 219, and a single A330-300. Scheduled and charter flights run from Ben Gurion and from Ramon in the south to around 32 destinations, and the A321LRs opened routes that the older narrowbody fleet could not reach without a stop.
