About Air Dolomiti
Air Dolomiti was founded in 1989 in northern Italy and began flying in 1991, taking its name from the Dolomite mountains. Lufthansa progressively acquired the airline, taking full ownership in 2003, and it now operates as the German group's Italian regional carrier while keeping its own identity.
Based in Verona, Air Dolomiti flies an all-Embraer E195 fleet, mainly feeding Lufthansa's Munich and Frankfurt hubs from Italian cities such as Bologna, Florence, Turin and Verona. The airline cultivates a distinctly Italian onboard style, and its short Alpine crossings offer scenic sector flying between Italy and Bavaria.
