About ASL Airlines France
ASL Airlines France is the successor to France's postal aviation tradition, founded in 1991 and flying under the callsign FRENCH POST from its Paris Charles de Gaulle base. Its core mission remains carrying La Poste's overnight mail around France, but it is unusual among cargo operators in also flying scheduled passenger services, notably between France and Algeria.
The key to that flexibility is its fleet of Boeing 737-800s, several in quick-change configuration that swaps between freight and passenger cabins, letting the same aircraft haul mail by night and holidaymakers by day. It is one of three ASL Aviation Holdings carriers in Europe.
