About LATAM Airlines Peru

LATAM Airlines Peru began operating in 1999 as Lan Peru, set up by Chile's LAN Airlines with Peruvian partners to build a hub at Lima. It adopted the LATAM name in 2016 following the merger of LAN with the Brazilian carrier TAM, and has grown into the largest scheduled operator in the Peruvian domestic market.

Jorge Chavez International in Lima is the hub, feeding a domestic network that reaches Cusco, Arequipa, Iquitos, Piura, Trujillo, Tarapoto and more than a dozen other cities. Short and medium haul flying is done with Airbus A319 and A320 family aircraft, with Boeing 767 equipment used on the longer sectors to North America and Europe.
