About Rossiya Airlines
Rossiya traces its line to a Leningrad air detachment formed in 1934 and took its present shape in 2006, when the Moscow based state carrier Rossiya merged with the Pulkovo Aviation Enterprise of Saint Petersburg. Aeroflot took majority control in 2011, and the airline has been the group's second brand ever since.
Pulkovo in Saint Petersburg is the home base, with large operations at Moscow Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo and a growing base at Krasnoyarsk. The fleet is built around the Boeing 737-800 and the Boeing 777-300ER, with a Superjet 100 fleet that has taken over much of the regional flying. The network runs to well over a hundred points.
