JSV Flight Logger V1.11.0 released

05 May 2026 · JetStream Virtual

We are excited to announce that version 1.11.0 of the JetStream Virtual Client is now available for download. This is one of our most substantial updates to date, and we think you'll notice the difference from your very first flight.

Here is a rundown of what's new:

Prepar3D Support
P3D pilots have been asking, and we delivered. The client now fully supports Prepar3D alongside MSFS and X-Plane, with the same SimVar coverage and the same experience across the board. If you've been waiting to join JSV because of your simulator of choice, now is the time.

Achievements
We've added an Achievement Tracker with 16 flight metrics that are silently evaluated throughout your flight and submitted with your PIREP. These cover everything from autoland detection and go-around tracking to holding patterns, rejected takeoffs, crosswind corrections, and more. Some are rewarding. Some are humbling. All of them are worth chasing.

TTS Cabin Announcements
The cabin crew has found its voice. Boarding, purser introduction, meal and drinks service, duty-free, and after-landing announcements are now fully generated using text-to-speech in 12 languages. Your purser has a name, introduces herself before the safety demo, and mentions the captain and destination by name. Announcement templates can be customised directly from the admin panel without requiring a client update.

Quick Reference Panel
A new Reference tab has been added to the active flight page, with collapsible sections covering violations and penalties, comfort scoring, service timing, PA triggers, and the full grading scale. Everything you need mid-flight, without leaving the app.

Custom Title Bar and Font Size Settings
The app has received a visual refresh with a new custom title bar, including integrated dark/light mode toggle and proper window controls. We've also added a font size setting under Settings > Appearance for those who prefer their information a little larger — or smaller.

Bug Fixes Worth Mentioning

Beyond the new features, this release resolves a significant number of reported issues. Some highlights:

- False RTO notifications were being sent to Discord during normal landing rollouts. This has been corrected.
- A timing bug caused the client to log a spurious diversion back to the departure airport on certain flights. Fixed.
- The Flight Director was incorrectly treated as an engaged Autopilot, causing false autoland achievements and unexpected AP-related events. The distinction is now properly enforced.
- Fixed-gear aircraft such as the C208 Caravan caused the map to freeze during flight. Resolved.
- PIREP submissions were rejected for flights with zero flight time or cruise altitudes below FL10. Both cases are now handled gracefully.
- Light detection on addon aircraft (PMDG, Fenix, and others) was unreliable due to custom LVAR usage. The logger now reads both sources and takes whichever reports the light as active.
