Norwegian Air Shuttle Joins the Network

Norwegian Air Shuttle has been added to the network at the request of a member. We already carried Norwegian Air Sweden, but not the Norwegian certificate itself, which is the larger of the two and the one most people mean when they say they want to fly Norwegian.

The airline flies under ICAO code NOZ and the callsign NORDIC. Both replaced the older NAX and NSW designators in October 2021, when the group split its operation across two air operator certificates. It is an all Boeing 737 operation from bases at Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, Trondheim and Tromso, flying across Scandinavia and down to the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands.

84 routes have been imported from the live schedule, centred on Oslo Gardermoen, along with eight aircraft. Two of those airframes, LN-NGZ and LN-ENT, were previously sitting under the Swedish certificate and have been moved across to the Norwegian one where they belong.
