About Ural Airlines

Ural Airlines began in 1943 as the Sverdlovsk air enterprise inside Aeroflot and became an independent joint stock company in 1993, when the flying operation was separated from the airport at Yekaterinburg. It has carried the Ural name ever since and is one of the larger privately held carriers in Russia.

Koltsovo in Yekaterinburg and Moscow Domodedovo are the main bases, with further bases at Zhukovsky and Saint Petersburg. The fleet is entirely Airbus A320 family, around 51 aircraft spanning the A319, A320, A320neo, A321 and A321neo. The network reaches Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, the Caucasus, Turkey and China.
